CRYPTOPSY To Be Featured In Canadian Documentary
October 10, 2007Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY will appear in a documentary that will air on Quebec's TV5 (in French) on Thursday October 11 at 10:30 p.m. (to be rebroadcast Wednesday, October 17 at 1:30 a.m.). The topic of this documentary (which was produced by Urbania) is CITÉ 2000, the building in which CRYPTOPSY and over 200 bands have their rehearsal rooms.
CRYPTOPSY will soon announce the new acquisitions in the band for the positions of lead singer and keyboardist/samplist. The band will release new promo pictures by the end of October and will be in studio recording its sixth album in November 2007. By early 2008, CRYPTOPSY will be ready to tour extensively throughout the world.
CRYPTOPSY parted ways with singer Lord Worm (a.k.a. Dan Greening) in April. No reason was given for Lord Worm's departure, but according to Auburn, the vocalist was "kicked out" of the band and didn't leave of his own accord (an account later disputed by Lord Worm)
CRYPTOPSY's last studio album, "Once Was Not", was released in 2005 via Century Media Records.
